Eek it was sooo hot this weekend! It was in the 90's all three days (fri sat sun). I about melted. Our new place doesn't have A/C. What the frick? Come on now people of the 90's, when you built this place the summers were HOT, just like they are every year! Portland is at the bottom of a Valley, it is surounded by mountains on 3 sides. Unfortunately all the heat gets trapped and it radiates. Saturday night, after we got back from our impromptu round trip to Albany, OR to see his second cousins motorcross, we gave in and bought a 40" tower fan from Target. Yesterday, I also bought a window fan for the baby room, as Leonie was miserable wed/thur/fri of last week. It was just too dang hot! So now we have 6 fans going, including the 2 ceiling fans (one in our room and one in the dining room). But now that we have enough fans, of course it's gong to cool down. Though I am grateful for that!
I am a bit behind on the business side of things. When I set those goals, I didn't take into account that I hadn't even begun writing up documents. How can I start a business without the proper (and legal) documents? Medical release forms, daily forms, enrollment forms, oh my. It is such a tedious task, but I think I'm almost done. Then I can advertise. I've been having so many negative thoughts about the whole thing. That no one is going to want to bring their child to an unlicensed home or pay the amount I specify, etc. I'm going to try to use Ashley's affirmation technique to beat down the anxiety.
So it's Day 1, Week 1, Month 1! Check it out at:
Dreamer's Weight Loss Quest I woke up in a good mood today. Those Positive affirmations, just might be worth it ;)
