PCNAA Introduced In Senate
The Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 (S. 3480) was introduced in the Senate and is now in the hands of Congress. DO NOT allow the Federal government to have control of the internet. Contact your representatives and let them know that provisions were already put in place by the CIA to stop cyber-attack in 2008. If this legislation passes, the President would have the power to shut down the internet for up to 4 months in an act of defense in "emergency" situations. Considering how our President acted in the recent situation concerning General McChrystal, who knows what he could declare as an "emergency".
