(no subject)
Something happened today... I came home with little things.
These are Ecuadorian hermit crabs, and I've been searching for them for over a year. In fact, once Taylor got his house and I bought a 50-gallon aquarium, we were planning on placing an order to livehermitcrabs.com so we could get some. Petco decided to spare us the shipping fees it would seem. :)
There are actually three new kids - the last one is Taylor's but when I went to take pictures, he was hiding in a spot my camera couldn't reach. My two are still unnamed, since the names I was originally planning for them (Ardi and Suleiman) ended up... not fitting. Like at all. Taylor's is named but I'll have to ask him about it again.
Tomorrow (today?) is the beginning of Colossalcon weekend. We will unfortunately only be there one day, since Kyra graduates on Saturday and like hell I would miss that for a local con. I'm bringing my good Nikon so there will most definitely be pictures involved. Also, Archaeology of Death ended today (yesterday?). It seems my last real summer before "the real world" will be beginning with a convention and ending with a convention.
