I guess it's been a while since I updated. Meh.
We got the floor fixed. Went with the laminate, which should help the resale of the house. It's working out fairly well so far.
Both kids are in school now. They're both handling it well, so we're happy about that. As a plus, we're not spending just under $200 a week in day care now, so we'll be able to make an attempt at catching up our bills.
I've become enthralled by Half-Life 2. Beautiful game, good story so far. I love the facial animation work... Alyx rolling her eyes at the other scientists and looking concerned over the 'cat incident' are priceless. I'm really hoping that in-game animation in the years to come rises to the challenge rather than piddling along where it has been.
To those of you I care about whom I've not spoken to in some time... I'm still here. I just, frankly, don't get much time with LJ anymore. But I listen, and if you need my direct input for anything I'll be around. Just not as much as I'd like.
And, dad, we're on the last disc of 24 S1. It's good so far, we just haven't spent as much time on it after the back-to-back we did with some of the other DVD shows we've watched.
