What a compliment :)
I forced hubby to sit down this morning and help me with the office furniture *g* By lunchtime we’d ordered and paid for all of it *woot* By this time next week I’ll be sitting in my newly furnished office!
And I think I may have found a taller than average tv stand for my bedroom! I just have to wait until my bed arrives, so I can see if the wood stains come close :)
This afternoon Tori and I hit a few more furniture stores in search of some drawers for Mitch’s room. We were walking through one of our major furniture/electrical retailers when a sales lady interrupted our browsing…
Sales lady: Are you ladies looking for something specific?
Me: *turning to face the woman* No thanks, we’re just looking.
Sales lady: Oh, I am sorry. I thought you were a couple of teenage girls wandering through.
Me: Thank you! *beams*
Sales lady: From the back you look like a young girl. I could have sworn…
Me: Thank you again *still beaming*
And the good news is: we found several options for Mitch’s furniture in one of the stores we visited today (not the one with the complimentary sales lady, unfortunately). Hopefully, we can get it sorted tomorrow *crosses fingers* if not I’ll have it done first thing Monday!
