Stupid Cats

So twice yesterday the cats managed to escape the basement. They've managed to damage the screen (always a worry). Basically, we think Jumper punched a hole in the lower panel, and used the hole to hook and drag the screen aside. It's possible he squeezed through the hole, too - cats can get through remarkably small spaces...

I hate cats that are too smart for their own good. I was really hoping we wouldn't have to explore the option of stapling them to the ground...
