My first week (and a half) home, and I feel like I've been here a month based on the amount of activity I've had. I think my official verdict is that the rechargable battery is no more. It has ceased to be. In short, it's dead, Jim. This fact was highly aggravating when I tried to mow the side yard last night. In spite of the down time due to stomach issues plus some form of exhaustion/stress, I had a somewhat rejuvenating time this weekend. The steampunk meetup on Friday was entertaining...and I love the idea that all I had to do was add accessories and a hat to my work clothes to get Instant Steampunk. What a gorgeous day for a Coronation! Others have said it, but I will repeat it--it was a bit of "old home" and "old school" day. I won't say it is my favorite site, but the rustic nature of the site and old CCC camp amenities help me with my illusion of medieval times. I had a pretty good weekend. I got to watch honeypot904 be invested as Hawkwood's Baroness, then I got to go out into the bright sunshine and shoot at things....
