ealdthryth had to work late on Friday, so I was pretty much home alone with the cats on my birthday. I used the time unwisely, but at least the PlayStation got some exercise. Since Sunday was our anniversary, we decided to more or less celebrate both occasions on Saturday with dinner out and a minor shopping frenzy. We only meant to check out the

Miranda's favorite trick right before I brought the kittens home and distracted her was to stretch and-- still stretched out-- sloooooooowwwwwwly roll right off the edge of the bed and then stroll away. Ever so casually. That was pretty entertaining.

AElf' and Ignatius have both performed renditions of the Fat Cat Capsizing triptych--except that AElf' is too skinny to get it right. The image of their flailing legs followed by the FWUMP! of them landing on the floor is usually pretty funny. They get offended if you laugh out loud, though.
