So I got to the Appalachains yesterday, and was awakened today by the sounds of trees dying around me. Yes, a bit Ferngully-ish, but apparently, pine beetles have been infesting and killing the white pines in the area, and some oaks are dead and leaning precariously over the mountain...and above the house, and are thus being removed. My dad's computer came on in the middle of the night and started playing classical music. So I, coming vaguely out of a finals-inspired nightmare, couldn't figure out where the pretty music was coming from, and managed to convince myself that indeed, I was still at Hillsdale, dreaming I was in North Carolina, and that I truly did have two unfinished papers, plus ten 80-page articles on public safety and consumer relations that i had to read and summarize before graduation. Which, I was relieved to discover, is not the case. The finals nightmares can stop anytime now. Anytime.
I currently blame it on the two hours of intrigue and frustration that certain peoples need to finish watching (this means you Suzu, Reddo)...and mental trauma from four years of the Hillsdale experience with the Great Eye of Central Hall watching constantly.
Anyhow. If people are hoarding graduation photos, they should share >.> And as soon as I collect mine from those people who are holding them hostage, I will.
