Christmas was low-key in a satisfying way. The snow meant we were without most of the familiar trappings (which are all in our storage unit) and UPS wasn't able to deliver for several days, but we made do. Good News #1: Yumi's feeding tube is out and she's looking and acting like she was three months ago, minus four pounds or so.

Good News #2: David took her to the vet without me, which is good news because apparently the only thing they do to remove a tube is clip the stitches and pull....arrrgh, that is one of the most horrifying thoughts ever...
