I need to finish Christmas. I did good this year, don't feel miserable about missing the deadline. But it would be good if I didn't leave the remainder until April (2002), June (2005) or the following year (every other year ever, it pretty much just rolls over).

Christmas was low-key in a satisfying way. The snow meant we were without most of the familiar trappings (which are all in our storage unit) and UPS wasn't able to deliver for several days, but we made do. Saturday, David and I went to see the Nutcracker at the Pacific Northwest Ballet. It's their 25th anniversary of this particular production, and it was wonderful.
