I've spent most of the weekend watching Iran on Twitter, YouTube and The Daily Dish (and, by extension, a handful of other blogs to which Andrew Sullivan links). I am filled with awe at the power of the internet, I have to say, and the concept of a country which has just had a transparently stolen election, complete with shutdown of nationwide SMS, cell service and news outlets organizing a revolution on Twitter is...kind of incredible. Cable news can't really hold a candle to this kind of thing, now accessible in real-time anywhere in the world.

In unrelated news, I've decided I hate all my icons.

But I don't update enough to waste time and energy changing them.

Last day of work at Kumon is next Thursday. Last day at the lab is July 17. June 30, I'll be a homeowner. August 17, I'll be a graduate student. My last games with my hockey team are State Games of NC this weekend. I'm shopping for a smartphone, new service provider and new computer. Suggestions are welcome. That is all.
