Happy Valentine's Day!
Aww, you guys, we just watched the season four finale of Miraculous again and it's still so good!!! ...That was pretty much what we did for Valentine's Day, but we would have done it anyway, because that's where we were on our Miraculous re-watch. It was a pretty nice coincidence that it happened to land on Valentine's Day. And oh man, I am so excited to start watching season five again!!! Eeeeeeee!!!!!
As for the work crunch, it's going pretty well, actually! I like to think of it as a Valentine's Day miracle, because we were working on a romantic comedy, and we managed to finish the whole first draft with plenty of time to spare. So we also got to work on the simulpub we're catching up on, and do a final readthrough on the book we finished yesterday, and we didn't have to work overtime! We even had time to chat with Mom and Steve on the phone, and hear about how busy they are at the Missionary Training Center.
Hopefully, work will go just as well for the rest of the week, but of course we need to be prepared for it not to. Sigh.
Today I'm thankful for finishing today's tankoubon draft, making good progress catching up with our new simulpub, getting to watch the season four finale of Miraculous again, also finally finishing Tiger & Bunny 2, and having some chocolate to treat ourselves on Valentine's Day.
