More Craigslist SPOs
I finally decided to bite the bullet and see what kind of Craigslist SPO's are in my area. The horror! These were just within the first two pages. I find myself disgusted.
MY DOG IS A JERK!

My dog is a jerk. I love him with all my heart, but he really is a jerk. I adopted him from the shelter about four months ago. Lately, he has taken to pooping in the den. I take him out every 3-4 hours, make sure he does all his business and then BAM he goes and poops in the den. Today right after his walk, he came in and peed on the couch in the den. He's not acting any differently, he's not sick, he is going to the bathroom on our walks.. I have no idea what his problem is?!?! Also, he tries to eat people on our walks... and other dogs... now.. he's a smaller dog so it's not like anything would happen as I can keep a good hold on him, but I would love to take him to a dog park one day and I'm worried that he's just an anti social grumpy jerk haha Any ideas on how I can go about correcting these problems? Even if he had to pee and he just went to the door I would be more than happy to take him out again, but he never goes to the door so I just take him out every 3-4.. he also doesn't mess in the other room when I'm not here, only when I am here.. and when I am here he's the centre of attention... PLEASE HELP!
A jerk? Your dog is a JERK?! I'm sorry, but dogs have no concept of jerkness. The obvious response is that the owner is a jerk, but he/she sounds more like a person who has never owned a dog before and has no clue what he/she is doing. You can't apply human generalizations to your poorly trained/socialized pup.

If I didn't already think that the poster was completely brain damaged, I would almost wonder it "perfect family edition" was meant to be some sort of pun along the lines of editing your family by adding a new member. But that would paint me too optimistic.
14 month old dog to good
Male Rotti Boxer cross to go to good home (approved only). He is very affectionate and loving he is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He has a n excellent temper, he has gotten too big for our house, we have his dad and the 2 makes 1 too many. He has basically been an indoor dog only outside during the day when it is nice. Ok. You already have this dogs father, so obviously you already knew how big he was going to get. Why the heck would you keep him for more than a year and THEN decide to give him up. Was it so that you could keep him throughout the cute puppy phase???

I want a cutie dog
I'm contemplating getting a dog. It must be cute and small. Definitely purebred. A chihuahua or pomeranian would be nice. They are very fashionable right now, even Paris Hilton has a chihuaua!
Also, it has to be maintenance free. I work during office hours and go out sometimes later therefore the dog has to be able to stay home by itself.

Is it just me, or should she just get a cat?
