Sort of off topic...
but it IS animal realted, and I thought that some of you might get a kick out of what I realized this morning.
I just started working in a tree nursery. It's physical work, outside all day, in the middle of a crazy heat wave. My official job title is "Horicultural Technician"
But, when in the rows today, I suddenly noticed that I was doing one thing more often than anything else, and it wasn't on purpose! So, I'm amending my job title to:
LADYBUG COCKBLOCKER.
Yup, them spotted beetles are frisky, and every time I move a leaf, trunk or branch, I end up interrupting something.
So, again, sorry for not having a pet-related snark, but I AM doing something to help the animals! I'm preventing the ladybug population from getting too large. I mean, since my boss won't spay & neuter them.....
