First, this took me way longer than it should have. Second, I love how by the end they start forming some kind of continuous story...thing. Third, I realized that I didn't include Star Trek (perhaps my first real brush with fandom) or Harry Potter (the only fandom I have ever had some kind of physical involvement in - read: I've been to a few wrock shows and a convention/symposium thing). So I feel a little bad, but oh well.

2 (wee!Octavius) has lost something of value; which of the other nine does 2 hire to help find it? Why is it necessary that 2 should get it back, and what will the consequences be for failure? Do they succeed, and how?
Wee Octavius has lost his wee helmet, which is very embarrassing to him because he doesn't want to go into the Forum without it (it's diorama!Rome dress code, guys, just go with it); also, he has terrible helmet hair that he needs to cover up. There's a lady over at the western diorama who said she knew how to dress hair, but it turned out that all she knew how to do was curl it. Fortunately, Octavius escaped before she started with the ribbons. He asked Jedediah as a friend (read: "friend") to help him find it, because Jedidiah's small like Octavius and knows the museum better, but he also hired Vorenus because he looked like a man who knows the importance of knowing where one's helmet is. They look all over with no success. After some hours Jedediah, all tuckered out, goes back to the Western diorama to rest in his tent for a little bit before resuming the search again, and he finds the helmet under his bed. (Readers are encouraged to come to their own conclusion as to what it was doing there.)

6 (Kurt), 9 (Jedidiah), and 4 (Atia) are a 30s detective agency, who's the PI, who's the femme fatale, and who's the murderer?
What a dream team, eh? Technically, Atia's supposed to be the investigator, but since she sends Jedidiah out to investigate EVERY DAMN TIME, he ends up solving most of the cases. (Her name's still on the door, though.) The femme fatale is Kurt, despite not being femme (well, in the literal sense of the word), because when he walked into the room wearing that top and those pants and with his hair just so, Jedediah was falling all over the table to hear his case. Promptly after Kurt left Jedidiah had to go "wash his hands", and when he came back Atia flicked him across the desk irritatedly. It turned out Atia was the murderer (she sent some of her men to "take care of" Burt after he rejected her advances), but Jedediah's terrified of what she'll do to him if he ever tells anyone. He's planning to tell Kurt, though, if their elopement ever happens.
Why is 5 (Brutus) angry at 8 (Vorenus)?
Brutus is angry with Vorenus for siding with Antony in general, especially after that whole Philippi business. He doesn't know if there's a Vorenus counterpart in his story, but he figures his Rome-verse counterpart would be appreciative of the sentiment.
7 (Hamlet) and 2 (wee!Octavius) are locked in a prison, what happens?
They sit around for several hours discussing Rome and such together; finally someone (probably Octavius) realizes that he is small enough to slip under the door and steal a key a la silly, unrealistic kid's movie, and they escape.
(Cool story bro: I also ran through these questions with the list of Julius Caesar characters I used in
another meme, and the two characters in this question turned out to be Antony and Lepidus. My response: "Lepidus drops the soap.")
Which of the other eight are 10 (Denmark) and 4 (Atia) talking about?
Somehow I have a feeling that if those two ever met, it wouldn't be talking they'd be doing... *cough*

1 (Cassius), 6 (Kurt), 9 (Jedidiah), and 10 (Denmark) are all messing around on the Shakespeare kink meme. What happens?
Cassius is offended at the lack of fills involving himself (although flattered by the one request asking what his turn-ons are). He's also trying to get rid of certain mental images (namely involving one Marcus Brutus). Kurt is surprised, because he thought the internet was for pimply nerds who live in basements and didn't know it had anything of the kind to offer, and is finding himself spectacularly hot-n-bothered. Jedidiah's bored, because he saw a Shakespeare play once and it didn't have enough shootouts, and he can't see the appeal (but is appreciative of the kink factor nonetheless).
Why might 2 (wee!Octavius) be jealous of 5 (Brutus)?
He's jealous because Brutus' Rome didn't have to hammer down these huge walls when they wanted to expand, didn't have to deal with certain Westerners, Mayans, night guards, etc.
3 (Octavius) and 7 (Hamlet) trade lives for a day. Do they enjoy themselves? Does either of them want to trade back when the day is over?
Hamlet runs away from the civil war, leaving Antony (and Lepidus too I guess), to deal with whatever they were going to do that day alone. Meanwhile, Octavius has killed Claudius and spent the rest of the day practicing fencing and ignoring a very confused Horatio. Hamlet enjoyed his day sightseeing so much that he doesn't want to go back, but Octavius decides he has a war to win and forces them to switch back. Hamlet's pleased to see Claudius is dead, not so pleased to have to reckon with a hurt and offended Horatio. Unfortunately for Octavius, he missed a Very Important Thing that day (let's say it was Philippi, that makes me feel better), and Antony & Lepidus FAILED MISERABLY at it. Now Octavius has hell to pay for it, while Hamlet's down on his knees trying to convince Horatio that I switched bodies for a day, that wasn't me that was some Roman guy, HONEST.

Out of 1 (Cassius), 4 (Atia) and 10 (Denmark) who would make the best opposite-gender version of themselves?
Atia would probably make a terrible man. She's used to sitting and manipulating from behind the throne, not taking action herself except for very behind-the-scenes, and men in Roman (and Rome-an) society were a little more proactive, I'd think.
Then there's Cassius, who's made multiple disdainful remarks about women. I don't think being one himself would sit well with him.
Aside from the fact that there kind of already is a
gender-swapped version of Denmark, and that he doesn't seem too adverse to the idea of
having boobs (read the description underneath for a little deeper context), I think Denmark just honestly doesn't give much of a care what gender he is. He'd be him/herself no matter what. This one goes to him.

Sanity and rational behavior are defined by 3 (Octavius)'s actions and opinions. How do the others rate?
Cassius defines snap decisions and the gut instinct, as well as emotional neediness.
wee!Octavius would like to say he defines honor, but really he defines obedience and the need to be liked.
Octavius defines the cold shoulder and decisions that seem well thought out, but really aren't. (Not too sure about that rational behavior business, but I suppose he does.)
Atia defines feminine wiles and sneaky means to an end, as well as hiding (maybe too well) her true emotions.
Brutus defines thinking, overthinking, and, of course, being stoic.
Kurt defines flamboyancy (considering where he lives) and the need to be loved.
Hamlet defines in-sanity and perhaps-too-rational behavior.
Vorenus defines hotheadedness and loyalty.
Jedidiah defines loyalty and willingness to take the fall.
Denmark defines partying hard and loving implicitly.
Toby DEFIES lechery!
5 (Brutus) hires 1 (Cassius) and 2 (wee!Octavius) to solve a problem. What is the problem and why are 1 and 2 competing rather than working together?
Brutus has lost a Very Important Scroll. He asks Cassius to look around for it, and hires Octavius to search all those dark places in his library that he can't see too well. While Brutus is out, Cassius (not knowing about Octavius' presence) decides to poke around the library as well, and while shuffling things across a table accidentally sends Octavius spinning. Octavius starts yelling insults, from which Cassius takes mild offense, but mostly just finds amusing. Octavius is hurt that Cassius isn't taking him seriously and starts working like crazy to find the scroll first. At that Cassius decides to leave the library and roam Rome (heh) in search of the scroll. Later, Brutus finds it in his pocket.
9 (Jedidiah) feels like messing with someone's head. Whose head, and how does 9 go about this?
He feels like messing with his own wee!Octavius' head, because, well, when doesn't he? He introduces wee!Octavius to big!Octavius, and sits back grinning as the two Octavii have a very confused conversation trying to figure out if they are each other.
(Note: It is a point of confusion in the Night at the Museum fandom regarding who Octavius is supposed to be: whether he is Octavius-aka-Augustus, which would be the obvious answer, or some other Octavius, which is the answer actually supported by history. I vote for the latter.
8 (Vorenus) hears that 7 (Hamlet) and 10 (Denmark) are, supposedly, romantically involved. Which of the three is most alarmed by this revelation and why? Do the others have any notable reaction?
Denmark isn't surprised at all; he figures he was probably drunk at the time. Vorenus doesn't know either of them too well, so he doesn't really care. Hamlet is the most surprised: he knew he loved his country, but he didn't know it meant that.
(I am totally amused by this coincidence now, and think Hamlet/Denmark is a ship to rival Brutus/Rome.)
The odd numbers (Cassius, Octavius, Brutus, Hamlet, Jedidiah) are on a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean. Unfortunately, there are only four spots in the life boat. Which one gets left behind (or voluntarily chooses to give up his or her place) and why?
Brutus, in a knee-jerk "honor!" reaction, jumps out of the boat. It's a couple minutes before Cassius can convince him that Jedidiah, being about the size of a person's hand, doesn't really take up a spot. Brutus gets back on the boat, and strikes up a conversation with Hamlet about philosophy while he and Cassius wring out his soggy clothes over the side.
The Powers That Be approach 4 (Atia) and 6 (Kurt) separately and tell each that he or she has been selected as one of two finalists for `Best' Character in the Meme. Neither contestant, however, is told the identity of the other. In order to secure this honor (or, if either is so disposed, avoid it), each devises some notable action to be carried out with, to, for (or etc.) one or several other characters. What are the plans concocted, whom do they involve, and why do 4 and 6 each think his or her plan will be successful?
Atia decides that, if she is in some kind of competition, the best thing to do is kill all the other contestants. She's a second away from sending out her men to take out all the other characters when she hears a knock at the door and is distracted. That's Kurt, who's decided that to prove his skill, kindness, goodsportsmanship, whatever, etc, to the Powers That Be (and thereby impress them so much that he wins), he's going to give all the other characters in the meme a makeover*. Atia is flattered at first, but sees through it pretty quickly, and Kurt doesn't live to see the morning.
*Cassius got a stylish haircut, and a bit of makeup "to make your cheeks look less hollow". wee!Octavius got a darling little doll's pinstripe suit. Octavius got a tonic to help with helmet head (which would have gone to wee!Octavius, but the bottle was bigger than he was) and a very light blush with a bit of eyeliner (surprisingly, Octavius likes it quite a lot, and it's helping him feel better about that terrible day following his day as Hamlet, and Antony is jealous). Brutus, like Cassius, got a haircut, but Kurt took one look at his bloodstained hands and shook his head, so he also gave him a very gentle, moisturizing floral soap to use for that. Hamlet was told to wear less black eyeliner and, seeing how black was pretty much the only thing in his wardrobe, had his colors done (Kurt pronounced him a spring). Vorenus heard the word 'makeover' and looked at Kurt with so much DO NOT WANT in his eyes that Kurt backed out of the door slowly. Jedidiah, like Octavius, got a doll's pair of tight denim jeans, a button-down shirt with a very minimal amount of ruffles, and an "ironic" fringed vest. Denmark, at his own request, got a full red mouth, bright pink cheeks, and blue eyeshadow (alcohol may or may not have been involved).
Given the results of the events above---and setting aside any personal bias the Powers That Be happen to have---does the award go to 4 (Atia) or 6 (Kurt)? Or did they both make themselves so odious that the Powers That Be are obliged to bestow their benediction on some other character chosen hastily, but not without reason, from amid the chaos and debris?
The Powers That Be, being, well, the Powers That Be, after learning with their That-Be-Powers that Atia made herself the default winner by killing the other contestant, set out to line up the remaining 9. By this time Vorenus has decided he's had enough and has gone to hide in a corner. Hamlet was so excited about being a spring (see footnote above) that he has gone out to get a dozen new outfits made, and subsequently misses the announcement of the gathering. Kurt is dead. Denmark, covered in makeup and with a MAD hangover, decides to close the blinds and spend the day with Norway. Subsequently, the only characters that turn up are Atia, Cassius, Octavius, wee!Octavius, Brutus, and Jedidiah. Atia is quickly disqualified for obvious reasons. The award is given to wee!Octavius, for looking so terribly dashing in his wee pinstripe suit, despite never having fixed that helmet hair.
