Sesshomaru wasn't sure what was worse, swollen ankles or a swollen belly.
It was a trip to Uganda, which resulted in Kagome ending up with painful swollen ankles. The reason? Circulation restriction to her lower limbs while flying. Kagome's nagging drove Sesshomaru over the edge, and to make things worse, she slept upside down with her feet in the air! No man in their right mind would want to have a beautiful woman's smelly feet shoved into their faces. The first few nights on the safari was not as dreamy as the brochure made it out to be.
Sesshomaru was convinced that the swell of Kagome's belly when pregnant made her exceptionally beautiful. The hormonal pregnant woman on the other hand, thought the opposite, and she made it quite clear on a daily basis.
"I'm so fat and ugly," Kagome whined, "why do you put up with me, Sessh?"
"You're beautiful," Sesshomaru would remind her with soft butterfly kisses. She did not believe him, until her mood swung the other way.
So two years after giving birth to their son, her words, "Let's have another one," left poor Sesshomaru gobsmacked. This woman was going to be the death of him.
