The things I do for my friends
So this coming Sunday my friend Gretchen is having a luau/Hawaiian themed baby shower and wanted to have a dish with Spam in it. Spam is very big in Hawaii, so I get that, but the funny part is that Gretchen is a vegan. A hippie, crunchy, water-birthing vegan, who wants Spam at her shower.
Lea fluttered her eyelids at me and asked if I could make something with Spam in it. Now I have never cooked anything with Spam, mainly because the stuff slightly scares me, but I'm not going to upset Lea, or the pregnant hippie, so I said yes.
I am now cooking a Spam dish for a Vegan baby shower that I'm not even attending. I find this really really funny and am only slightly freaking out because I now have to find a recipe for something.
My life may be a lot of things, but boring is never one of them.
