I had my Whitman & Dickinson class today with Snediker. He's my wonderfully gay professor, he loves me and I him. He told me my dress was really cute today and he liked the belt I paired it with. Course selection is always really hectic. Nobody gets every course they want so it's a lot of shuffling around department websites looking for replacement courses to fulfill the ones that got full. I just looked at my calendar and I left myself 1 week to write a paper, and a week and 2 days for another, when I have an exam this Friday. I need to revisit my exam schedule to see how long I have for each exam. I finish on the 23rd, I want to stay an extra few days to relax. I love it here when it gets this nice ( Read more... )

Once you get your method down, they actually get pretty easy to write. The problem is that they are time consuming rather than challenging. So you think "I'll do it later," and "I'll just watch a few episodes of ______ first..." and then it's the night before and you (read: I) end up trying to do it in a night. I'm trying, I really am. I went to the library for like 3 hours. I am burnt out from the midterm, I can't keep writing. All I want out of life now is to sleep and knit and maybe go work at Garage for a while because I like money.

My midterm is 20 pages on the dot. I hope this asshole enjoys reading it all. I get to hand it in in an hour. Until then, I'm updating my iPod and catching up on Victorian Lit readings.

After class, I get to start my Restoration and 18th Century Lit paper, due Monday.
