COMPLETE.
I finished my Restoration and 18th Century Lit paper last night, and I feel great about it. It's like 900 words over the limit but all my friends who go grossly over end up getting good marks, so let's see how it works out.
I gotta work on my Holocaust paper for Friday, but it's a rather simple one so I'm not worried. I want to finish Dorian Gray today too. Or at least be almost done. But I have such an urge to watch all 3 Star Wars movies... lol
Maybe I'll go to campus and download the 3 newest ones which people tell me not to watch.
Also, can't wait to see Emre again on Friday.
Wait, I haven't written about Emre before. STORYTIME!
So for one of the Oxfam events we had a club night at the night club underneath campus. We had a horrible turnout. There was no one to hit on but the DJ. ;) Lena knew him from tutorial and she said he's really really nice, and I wanted to talk to him, but I was too nervous. She basically made me, and he was, as promised, really really nice. I kept coming and talking to him all night and by the end of the night, I told him I was going to leave soon but it was great to meet him and I'd like to hang out again and he was like "oh definitely" so I asked for his number. We went for coffee and it was awesome! He's Turkish, like he LIVES IN INSTANBUL. He's here as an international student. He's incredibly smart. Like TOO smart for me. He speaks 3 languages. He worked in a law firm in Berlin last summer translating cases from German to Turkish and English. He's 3rd year politics, minor in history. I'm seeing him again Friday morning because we're sooo busy, we don't have a ton of time to spare for dates. I'm concerned even if he likes me he may be too busy to want to continue dating, but I also feel like that could just be a complex Nik left me with because he used that reason when we broke up. lol Oh, OMG he's on the radio. Fuck I forgot to listen to him this morning. He does the Indie Wake-Up Call on Wednesday mornings.
