Look! A post!
Today I was excited to make dinner for the family, went to the store, spent a bunch of money, blah blah. I made a (ok, kind of mediocre) stir fry, but nobody came home for dinner. So that was a little sad. Then some family friends came over for a spontaneous visit, old friends of my mom's, but I was still the only one home. They drove almost an hour, stayed for a while, then had to go home.
On the up side though, I got a buy 2 get 1 free craigslist deal on some adorable silkie pullets. I will take pictures at some point.
Project Runway just ended so now I am watching What Not To Wear, and the lady is a wiccan who participates in "Witch Trial Reenactments" where apparently the Salem witch trials were all about persecuting wiccans for being different. Also, she dresses like a bad Buffy extra all the time. Because black leather corsets, fishnets, and pointy hats with maribou feathers are totally a period costume. I guess I have a completely period 1600s colonial era costume too. Orange maribou feathers are still period right?
My poodle is fluffy and adorable. That is all.
