Fuel Me!
My writing has been kind of lacking this year, at least in quantity. From being sick at the beginning of the year to losing my muse after that, I’ve been slacking in the word department. I have done a few art projects and also The Great Room Organization, which I have been trying to get done since we moved in here more than 6 years ago. I had two broken legs when we moved, so I didn’t get to do that uncluttering thing that you do when you move, where you throw out a bunch of shit. I finally got really into it this year and actually finished! You don’t even know how open my room looks and how much easier it is to access things and keep the room straightened up now. It feels amazing! But I wasn’t writing at all while I was doing that project.
As it stands, I have to write 12k this month in order to hit 50k by the end of the year. I know I can do it - I’ve done it before - I just have to stay on target. I’m trying - every day I don’t have something on the schedule; appts, PT, social engagement - to write at least 1k. That should even out at about 3k a week. I can totally do that! Already I’ve written 3,300 words, so I’m off to a good start. I am also trying to stay away from my WIPS, because I cleared out all the easy ones and now my folder is just full up of those fics that are dragging out of me for some reason, and I don’t have time to dick around with those if I want to hit 50k. I do have The Nephew’s Christmas fic to write - (I love writing for him, but his fics always have so much action and I hate writing action scenes!) - but I still need some more words. On top of it, it’s almost Christmas and I want to give you all gifts, do something nice for my peeps, cuz you guys rock!
So, you help me meet my word goals by giving me prompts and I’ll gift you with some Christmas fics! Deal? I already have a fic-theme, which will be part of a Christmas series, but I need pairings! So hit me up with a pairing - (romantic or friendship, any fandom, even ones I’m not in, I can handle the challenge!) - and I will write you a Christmas fic. I don’t care if you are one of my best friends or someone I have only spoken to a handful of times or even a lurker! I need the fuel and you deserve the presents! So, give me some pairings, people!
