In Whic h I Am Grateful
Tomorrow I celebrate my ninth year of wedded bliss to my beloved wife TLC. I could not ask for a more loving, devoted, understanding, generous, perfectly-matched partner. She is the love of my life, and I don't know where I'd be without her. Really, I don't. And I shudder to speculate.
My great good fortune was brought home to me today as I provided moral support to a friend who is going through what I can only describe as a textbook ugly divorce. I will spare the details. Suffice to say that they made my hair curl and my hands ball up instinctively into angry fists in sympathy for my good friend and what he's being put through by a woman who did not deserve the heart he entrusted her with. Our discussion only brought home in full detail how lucky I am to have such a wonderful wife.
So, TLC, if you're reading this, know how much I love you. Deeply, passionately, forever. Happy anniversary.
