Ya Know? It's Refreshing to Hear Someone Even More Cynical Than I Am
Hello people!
I...I thought I had a dream...
But now I can't remember it...I didn't get up til 8:00 today, cuz on Saturdays, I don't have to be at work til 9:00. I get to dress down, too, so I put on some shorts and a t-shirt. I finished getting ready and joined teh fam on the breezeway for a bit. We had a good time together until I had to leave at 8:40. I got to work at 9:00 and was pretty much online the whole time.
It was only me and Kerri there, and it was dead silent. We got a handful of calls and a couple walk-ins, but most of the calls were for circulation (who, of course, wasn't there today). Kerri and I chatted a little, I read some Cracked articles. Pretty much just killed time til noon. We got the Hell outta there and I went to Lloyd's to drop off a copy of The Saico Chronicles for him. He was surprised.
His jaw dropped, LOL. It was awesome. He thanked me and said he'd read 'em, so yay! Hope he likes 'em. I made my way home after that and had a quick lunch. A lot of shit happened that I don't wanna get into, cuz I got furiously pissed off. But, moving on. Teh rents and I left to go to a meeting in Albany with the paranormal society we're working with for the Horror Writers Weekend (more info on my site!).
We got to the mansion where we're hosting the event and it's beautiful. :] Over 200 years old and so gorgeous. We sat in the garden and met with Amy, who's super nice and funny and AWESOME. We talked all about the event (and a few other, random things) and we were all pretty excited and happy about it. We went home after that and made ourselves some dinner: flatbread pizzas. MMM!
We watched Millennium pretty much all night. It was glorious. :] Title of this post is from it. And I've been thinking about the ouroboros tat we're all gonna get. I want mine, like, really soon. Gonna get it before Rock & Shock in October anyway, so I might as well get it ASAP. XD Yeah, once you get me on the tattoo train, it's impossible to get off. I took the bro to work and took a shower and now, here I am.
It's time for bed! YAY!
