Hello people!
I had a dream that I was having a dream.
Yep. I had a dream that I was trying to catch a little more sleep, going in and out of a dream. I vaguely recall mom and dad telling me to turn off my alarm in my dream, then I woke up to my alarm actually going off. So bizarre. Anywho, I got up as ushe and headed out as ushe. The morning actually went by rather quickly, so that was nice. Things picked up at 11:00.
That sucked. But after that, it quieted down a little. I went to lunch (got salad and coffee) and talked to teh rents for a bit. I did a lotta work when I came back and it sucked, lol. But, eventually, 5:00 came around and I got the Hell outta there. I got paid today - $331 (my check was for $400, but they took nearly $70 out for taxes. Bullshit? I think so) - so I stopped to get gas and shampoo/conditioner on the way home.
When I got home, mom wasn't ready to go. Dad was a little iffy cuz of some phone issues and some work issues. Things were just...off. I figured I'd just go get my tattoo done by myself, but then dad offered to go with me, so I said sure. We left and got to Lloyd's around 6:08. Right when I walked in, I felt at ease. Lloyd was on Facebook, so he pulled up my page and I showed him the Flashback pics.
He printed out the pic of Robert Englund's signature and got it ready, then went through all the Flashback pics. He thought it was really cool. XD <3 He did my tat and it only took about 45 minutes. Didn't hurt too badly, either. Honestly, right now, it doesn't hurt at all. Felt sorta...therapeutic. I dunno if you guys know this, but all tattoo artists have a base fee. Usually between $40 and $60.
That means that they have to charge at least that amount for a tattoo, no matter how small it is. Lloyd's base is $50. I understood and had no problem with that. Well guess what? He only charged me $25. I was shocked, lol. I said, "Aww! Is there somewhere for me to leave a tip?" I intended to give him the other $25, and he said, "Naw, don't worry about it, just come back." :D I was like, "I totally will!" <3
I love him. He is just so awesome. And he added me on Facebook. WHOOT. Anywho, here's the tat!
I tried to LJ cut that, and it disappeared. I'm sick of LJ fucking up. Guh. Moving on. After the tat, we went home and found mom feeling kinda depressed for no reason. I've had those days plenty of times, so I tried to comfort her. We watched some TV, including Burn Notice and Suits. First of all, Gary Cole was on the latter, and he looked so motherfucking good, I can't even. He makes a great lawyer.
And always in a suit with that fluffy black and gray hair and his fucking adorable face and sextastic voice...sorry. Anyway, um, during Burn Notice, they play these quick commercials that say, "See what fans are saying about the show!" And then they show people's Facebook comments and tweets. Well guess fucking what? MY TWEET WAS ON TV.
LOOK. LOOK AT ME BEING ON TV. :D I mean, ya know. BUT STILL. SO AWESOME. <3 I'm so excited, hehe. :3 Took the bro to work and none of us had eaten dinner, so I stopped at Ninety-Nine to surprise teh rents with chicken tenders. They were totally stunned and happy. XD And the food was great, as ushe! I took a shower and watched Whose Line (title of this post) and now? BED.
Love y'all - Mira/Doc/Kat *meow*
