Shelter Island
I really liked this episode. It was genuinely funny in a way I missed. No hunger for Barney/Robin. Although maybe that's because there was quite a bit. Ted invites Robin to his sudden wedding with Stella, which makes Barney really happy because he thinks Robin will feel vulnerable enough to sleep with him again. But Lily doesn't think he'll last. And he doesn't. Which is too bad, because just like he predicted, Robin did have a vulnerable moment. He just missed it.
This episode made me love Sarah Chalke even more. She's awesome. And she's definitely not married to Ted.
Dying of the Light
So that's how Ando "died." Fine, I'll buy that, because it did seem sudden in real time and the extra time gives it sense. Also, Ando didn't actually die.
However, Adam Monroe did, and it was fast. Too fast. A part of me says never to bring him back. And the other says, please, pretty please?
Claire's separate thread of the story was actually kind of cool.
But I didn't like how they tried to force the Matt/Daphne thing. Daphne and Hiro showed a little chemistry with her concern about him turning into a villain. The one with Matt falls a little flat. It fell flat even in the future when they were already together.
Peter is crazy. Did he get a hair cut while out? Sylar's become completely docile and it doesn't make sense to me. Peter's lost all his powers to his dad. Which I like, because he was getting to be too much anyway, in that department. Are they going to restart him, then? And why his dad so bada**? What is his power exactly, that he has two sons with natural power-stealing abilities? (Poor Nathan... slightly disowned...)
Mohinder is really creepy. He's lost his humanity or something. Does this mean Maya is dead? Is that too much to wish for?
I watched a few episodes of House yesterday, and I really liked it. I just haven't got any time to spend on it. :(
