The attacks continue. Looks weak, though; evidently they've run out of javascript exploits and are now down to phishing. Tsk. Although they seem to be using previously-broken accounts for the phishing, so they get some credit for tiering their attack methods.

Actually, += 4.2 (or += 2.7 if you assert that red/black = .5). We now have gradations of black belt, which seems a little counterproductive to me... but hell, whatever floats your boat. There's also white_circle += 7.

Google now has a blog search engine. For example, you can search for all the times when I used inappropriate language. Now you will never have privacy! Oddly enough, it has access to some protected entries. They are not displayed in their entirety during a hit, and you can't view the cached version directly, but they are cached, and if you're smart ( Read more... )

The nice thing about knowing the basics of programming is that picking up a new language for some task or other isn't an overwhelming burden. Looks like I'm going to switch to php for the website; the perl scripts I was using are getting cumbersome ( Read more... )
