Back To Reality...
I just realized that this is going to be VERY tiring weekend. First off, I went to Nuno's and had a whole hell of a lot of fun. Twig, where were you? I saw on the board you went, but don't remember meeting you. I loved seeing Buffy, Jessy, and Bonnie. I actually burned my finger with my cigarette because I wanted to give Bonnie a hug. Doesn't hurt though. High point of the night was seeing Gypsy. She came up to me and offered me some of her Long Island. She was really nice. Before that, I felt negativity towards her because I didn't like all the crap that was being said about San Antonio on the ILR board and her kindness and warmth put all of that to rest. We cool now! I still don't like the " 2 main shit talkers" though. Anyway, I crashed out when I got home and woke up at 8am to head out to the "Citi". Not sure of what to do on Friday, but I have to wake up at 630 on my day off to come do some training. Then I have to wake up early on Satuday for the march of dimes walk and then the BBQ. Hopefully I can find time to rest at some point.
I'm in the process of building my set for Mad Hatters. I found out I'll be right after Ron-E, so I gotta come correct. I really want to make the crowd feel like they're seeing a "big name" when I spin. You ever notice how the big names play badass songs and the no names play tracks that don't really "hit you"? I gotta set myself apart from the other "Trance DJs" and this is my time to do it. I'm excited.
