Well, today is officially two months with Yesenia. It feels like I've been with her longer than that. I've enjoyed every minute with her and look forward to many more months. She was upset yesterday because she found out her friend's husband may be cheating on her. She's like the perfect wife, and mother and this guy has the balls to cheat? What is wrong with these guys? She started to cry and I held her and told her to not let a guy like that scare her about me. I could never pull some crap like that...and I'm not even married! I don't know what is wrong with people these days...
I have nothing but great things to say about the BBQ on Saturday. I had a great time and a couple more people from the board. I kinda feel bad that I had an alterior motive in asking a certain DJ to tag with me, but I'm glad it didn't happen. I just want some of the lamer djs to know that I'm coming up and that I'm gonna bust my ass to make my name known. My dream is to be THE trance DJ in San Antonio. There's some guys that KINDA play trance, but no one truly embraces it like it should and breaks the tracks to the public that need to be heard. I wanna be that guy...
On a side note, I threw my back out not long after my set. I really felt like I played decently and didn't come away with anything bad to say about it. But anyway, I said my good-byes to everyone and headed out to Yesenia's. As soon as I got out of the car, I was in soooo much pain. I could hardly make my way up to her apartment. I almost fell twice cause my back hurt so much. I knocked on her door and she opened it up with this painful look on her face. I told her my back gave out and she said. "So did mine!!!" She was carrying her niece on her shoulders during the March of Dimes walk and that's was caused hers to go out. Mine went out from having to bend over the turntables for an hour. We laid on our backs and didn't move an inch. I tried to get up to get water and it was the saddest thing you could ever see. I was crawling on the ground like a baby and couldn't even stand on my feet. She said "Look at us. Its Saturday night, we're in our 20s, and we're stuck on the ground because our backs gave out!" I couldn't stop laughing, even though it really hurt to do so. It's cool how we're on the same page about sooo many things. It's eerie how our backs went out around the same time, but it feels great to know I have someone like that in my life.
