I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends...

I have to give props to the friends I have made since moving back to San Antonio. I left some really good people behind in Austin and I wasn't sure if I could ever make the kind of friends I had back in A-Town. Truth is, the friends I have made here are leaps and bounds better than the fellas back in Austin (with the exception of maybe Tony and Alex).

First props go out to Joe. If Crystal hadn't introduced me to him, I would not even be djing right now. It was him and David Rios who inspired me to get off my ass and buy some turntables and get back into spinning. Joe has been one of the most dependable and trustworthy friends I have right now. Much of what I am today is because of Joe and these next two fools:

Mike and Andy. You couldn't ask for two better business-minded friends. These are the 2 that let me into the crew and are giving me the chance to express myself musically. The difference in these guys is that not only are making name for THEMSELVES, but they're making sure WE get attention as well. They are busting their asses to make this crew work and I think this is going to be a great year for us. On top of that, if you have problems, they'll listen to ya. Last night I was weary of some things going on and between talking to Andy and smoking cigarettes with Mike, I felt a crap load better.

Other shoutouts go to Carlos, Julio Steve, and Non-Julio Steve. Carlos and Non-Julio Steve are two more guys that inspire me to keep practicing. Everytime I see them spin, I come away with some new technique. It's amazing!

Anyway, didn't wanna gush too much, but I wanted to make sure I give props and respect when its due. This crew is definitely gonna be makin waves soon. In the short tiem we've been doing this, we're bringin' Ron-E to our stage at Mad Hatter's. How badass is that!!! Any, gotta get home, but wanted to make sure I had an entry of substance today. Peace Out!!!
