Chapter 1.3 of the Noel Legacy
Hello once again, everyone! In the last episode we have the first born become a toddler, and many inappropriate comments from Yumi the grandmother, who is awesome. Shall we continue?
"How are you feeling?"
"Mmmmmmm....What?"
As we can see, from the pajamas and her getting a message, Eve's pregnancy is going nicely. And I am determined that it will be a good one this time!
Yumi managed to put the toddler on the ground, distract them with a bottle, AND turn her around before freaking out. Good job Yumi, wouldn't want to scar the toddler with your neurosis!
"That girl is pregnant again! She is a terrible mother!"
Well, she isn't that bad, just bad in comparison with you.
"Oh, REALLY?"
"What about last night, when I was helping teach the child to walk and she just sat down and started playing with the girl's toys? Not even asking to help!"
Well, she does like that Horsie, but still-
What about this? That's a motherly look.
"She was putting the kid to bed, then going to play with the toys some more."
Ah.
Well, regardless of Eve's lack of parenting skills, Leighton is a good enough parent for everyone. He is adorable with Destiny, between tickling her whenever she needs a pick-me-up-
Or teaching her how to walk.
"Now, follow me Destiny- ONE two three, ONE two three-"
Or, er, waltz apparently.
Destiny shares her grumpy face with us whenever she plays blocks. She doesn't like it when things don't work.
"NO NO NO NO NO! You go inta de pointy one! DE POINTY ONE!"
Destiny slammed her blocks against this thing for a good hour.
"Mama's favwite!"
...That's both adorable, and kinda sad.

"Now remember, marry for money. That way we can upgrade to a nice condo."

Really, everyone loves Destiny (last toddler pic-spam, I promise!). Her grumpy trait really doesn't show up that often.
And Sam is also a awesome older brother.
Sam has pretty much spent his time doing two things. Painting (he rolled the LTW to be a illustrious author)-
And fishing with his grandma.
"Well, at least no one will think you are compensating for your dragon."

"OH MY GOSH! I JUST realized! Dzricta is the evil mastermind behind the destruction of the ship Lustrous! Under and Over the Sky is going to be the BEST STORY EVER!"

And once again, our lady is perfectly calm while Leighton freaks out. She practically STROLLS to the hospital.
And here we have Jack Noel, who rolled both Excitable and Easily Impressed. Both traits that I find similar, and both traits his mother has.
I got to roll for both though! :D Yay good pregnancy!
His favorite color is orange, his favorite music is kids, and his favorite food is Dim Sum.
Meanwhile, I noticed with sadness that Yumi's lifebar was full. So I had her chat and hug everyone.
"Now, I'm getting old, you know that-"

"So you must remember! Make sure to give those kids all the love I would have if I am not here to do so, yes?"

Both me and Leighton were tearing up a bit, though he does so in a stoic way.

I took her for a walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. While sniffling sadly. Really, Yumi has been amazing. She is like, the iron babysitter or something.
"Why, thank you. And I must say, though the lot is covered in grime half the time, the view here is beautiful. I would be happy if a died right here."
"Well, that's a little dark! Lady, whattya doing here?"

"You know what book you should read? The Warlcok of Palladia. WONDERFUL book."

"The plot is very interesting. About magic, and how the lineage of Warlocks have red hair, and everything!"

"And then the most interesting thing was that the writer was apparently insane. Though he was a former student of the Warlock, and that Palladia really existed! Quite amazing, really. Was my favorite book as a teenager."

Well, the deal was that Yumi gets to age up every kid as long as she lives. So yeah.
Not that I mind, with how hard she works she really does deserve it.
First was Jack-
Who, as she had said, looks exactly like his dad.
Though I have NO idea where the brown hair comes from. I am guessing Yumi.
He is VERY cute though.
And then was Destiny!
"Hey, lady! Move it, I need to place the paper down in this perfect semi-circle!"
"You may stick that paper up your backend, I will be growing up my daughter."
I love the smile she has when she says this.
...Ok, I love Destiny. She grew up into a Sakura patterned dress, to honor her heritage. That rocks. (Seriously, I only changed her hair and the belt color. That was it.)
She also rolled the Family Oriented trait! So that is a useful trait which three people in the house have. I'm just glad to have a eventual teenager who will be happy to take care of the kids.
"Grandma! Grandma! Wait up!"
"Hehehe! You will never be able to catch me!"
Running up beside Yumi, Destiny gave her a slight shove on the side with a grin. "Tag, you're it!"
"Good job! Now, time to turn in."
"Graaandmaaaa! You're only saying that because you now have to chase me."
"Of course!"
Seeing the little girl frown grumpily, Yumi grinned and started tickling Destiny. Finally, laughter and giggles bubbled up to replace the frown.
"Grandma, no fair!"
"All's fair in love and war, darling! Now, com. Sit and let us talk."
They both sat under the stars for a long time, Destiny enraptured by the tales Yumi told of growing up in Simkinawa, a great city. She told stories that her mother told her, of dragons and youkai, strange creatures that had great power. Finally, stretching out her aching joints, she stood up.
"Now, you will remember all that, won't you?"
"Of course Grandma! Thanks for telling me the stories. Can we do this again?"
"Of course, now, give Grandma a hug, huh?"
Meanwhile, Eve was downing some melons and some limes, since I couldn't remember which one made girls. If either. And I wanted a girl.
Oh, she's pregnant again, by the by.
And here she is giving birth!
"Woman, why aren't you going to the Hospital!"
"Becuase I will lose my place in this story if I leave! I gotta do it here, or I will never know what happens to Rzzt in the sequel!"
Seriously, the que for the hospital never popped up. She wanted a home birth. Then again, it's not like she is having any pain... /grumbles about misuse of powers
And so Yuki Noel was born, named in honor his grandmother who was there, and I cursed at the screen because obviously I was frakin' wrong about the melons. Darnit.
His favorite color is black like his momma's, his favorite food is something-I-can't-remember, and his favorite music is pop. He rolled the heavy sleeper and friendly trait.
And the baby was promptly ignored. At this point, I am pulling my hair and sobbing into my keyboard at how many kids we have. All really close together to. NOT HAPPY.
And skilling needed to be done (one thing I will say about Eve, she always rolls the 'potty train' want. It makes me happy and believe she is a good parent for a second).
However, Eve was very distracted, for you see- she was working on her magnum opus. Dragons had always fascinated her, and so she had started on a fantasy tale called 'The Dragons From Under the Table'. She could tell this book would be different, and so dragons were on the brain.
Constantly.
Ok, this one is from later on, but still. Ever since i moved her into the lot she has had dragons on the brain 95% of the time. Not that I can blame her, because dragons are kick butt, but still.
As for why she has a hair change in this picture? Well, you see-
It's time for her birthday!
"Do I have to sparkle? I really don't wanna be a adult."
Sweetie, you can never be a adult.
"Maybe if I stay still like this, no one will notice the wrinkles?"
Yeah, time for a change. The childish hair and outfits don't really match well with the wrinkles and such.
"*grumbles grumbles mumble* Stupid adulthood, no more stars on outfits, stupid melons, stupid everything. *grumbles mumbles"
She isn't really pleased with being a adult.
"Ya think?"
Meanwhile, I tried giving the melons one more shot since she actually rolled a want for a girl. I was shocked. The last time she rolled the want to give birth to something was... um... never, pretty much.
Other than that, things have settled into a routine for the Noels.
Destiny goes around making grumpy faces, finally showing her grumpy trait...
Leighton is cuddling everyone....
Yumi is just being generally awesome...
"You bet your butt I am."
And Jack is being cute.
"PINK BUNNY!"
Finally, the monotony was broken when Destiny was rushing home. Why? She brought home a friend and forgot to get on the bus! Who is this friend?
Ayup. The Ursine girl.
Now, I just want to let you all in on something. I took the previous photographs by chance. It is chance that I have noticed her consistently and she has shown up in key places and shots. Every now and again, you gotta admit defeat and declare a person a part of the story.
Oh yes, I have plans for her. Mwhahahaha.
"You're weird, lady."

"Thanks for coming over, Francesca! Sorry I'm late, the bus was stupid. Wanna play?"
"Sure! Oh, and by the way, the teacher was right. Your dad is totally hot."

And how! She got a 'genre, redefining' book out and over 500 in royalties per month! With only 7 skill points! I am very happy right now.
"The Dragons from Under the Table... A true epic... I feel like I really did something. Wow."

And she popped again, last kid! YAY!
Of course, life marched on and I did the dance of 'YES, ONE LESS TODDLER IN THE HOUSE!'

Well, Destiny rolled the Computer Whiz trait, and turned out... very pretty. But also kinda weird. Depends on the angle.

I also gave her a bit of a latin look, as that is her favorite music. Thus the hoops and hair.
And Jack still looks cute.

He's also stoic, and rolled 'loves the outdoors'.
But, one second later-

Eve, are you ok? You actually sound like you are in pain this time.
"I am! This baby... I can't..."

And so little Ranulf Noel was born. His name means 'Raven Wolf', which I find awesome, but am curious as to why she gave him such a odd name (hint, hint).
His favorite color is red, and he had the trait Neurotic locked in and rolled genius. His favorite food is Fish and Chips, and he loves pop.
And I shall end it here, with all the children born (NO MORE, BY GOOD GRAVY NO MORE!) and things moving on forward.
