Chapter 1.2

Dec 29, 2010 23:57

We are back! A day later, yes, but still. I am hoping to get to the kidlets soon.

As hinted at in the last chapter with actual beds in the game, the 2k we received from the Sekemoto's went to building a very small house, and getting basic needs all set out.

Eve is busy chatting up her friend (not the brunette we saw last chapter, but a blond named Jamie Jolina) and talking excitedly about the bugs she saw last night.

"And they were big, and shiny! Ooooh, and some had WINGS!"

/shudders

While she was chatting, I sent Leighton to become a slave of the kitchen for a cooking career, and decorating the house purple for him to make up for the downgrade in living accommodations.

Also, ignore the walls. N00b shot.

Ah, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

"BlleeeeAARRrrrgh!"

There there.

Aaaand as hinted at in the last chapter, Eve popped! Which gives her ample time to start writing her first novel.

"It will be a kids book called 'The Littles Gnome'! And I will read it to my kid always and forever."

I kinda miss the Saturn's rings. Ah well, sorry, sims 2 grump over here. I am still pouting over the lack of energizer. Srsly. At least pregnancy isn't so bad now.

"I'm booooored."

You just played Video games for a hour. Please Eve, just write!

"But it's booooooring. Why can't the words just fall out of my head?"

Because then it would be a jumbled mess of crud.

":("

Meanwhile, I sent Yumi out to find a silver fox as she is rolling the want to get married.

"Single?"

"Nope."

This happened about five times.

And then I was distracted by the cute baby. I do like how the sims 3 has parents out and about.

Yes, I am going back and forth about my likes/dislikes in comparison. Yes, I know I need to stop.

Now, aren't YOU just adorable little Francesca Ursine! Yes you are!

"Dank you lady!"

Before I could coo at her some more, the mother glared at me and stomped away. Muttering something about bringing bad luck here. Pfft, like I would know ANYTHING about THAT.

/rolls eyes

/looks around nervously

/goes back to check on founder

"So, I see my son is finally doing his duties and giving me grandchildren."

"Yep! :D"

"Now remember, don't eat too much now, otherwise the baby will tear it's way one out. Quite vicious."

"...D:"

Um, Miss Sekemoto? Isn't that-

"My son deserves a skinny woman to be his wife. Best to scare her out of over eating."

...*looks down at the creator's own flub.*

...*shrugs*

I love this Grandma. Inappropriate trait ftw.

"OMG You're pregnant!"

"OMG I know! :D"

This is Eve's friend. I like her, and am very sad she will die before she can marry in. :(

... I will refrain from sighing about the SIms 3 differences.

"The best thing is, I will be able to buy more toys to play with!"

Because Childish sims priorities are awesome.

Awwwww.

"So, what do you think the gender will be?"

"Really, you want me to guess?"

"Yep! I woke up feeling lucky today, so I just know the right name will come to me. I just need to know the gender for it first, for the PERFECT name!"

"Well.... let's see...."

"Girl."

"Definitely girl."

"Ooooh!"

"And by the way, from out of the corner of my eye, your husband's butt ROCKS."

Yes it does, yes it does.

"..."

I have a feeling he will be doing this a lot. (Funny thing. I showed my friend a picture of him, and she instantly went- "Well, he looks stoic." Considering how well it fits, I was amused).

"Well, I am sure whatever gender it will be, it will be beautiful."

"Ooooh, and is a good talker too! How is he in bed?"

I LIKE this sim!

And then he started freaking out. Wut?

"Didn't you feel it! Eve, your stomach contracted! You're in labor!"

Wut?

"Oh, is that what-"

"OooooOOOOOWWWWWWW! This is not fun!"

...How come that seems fake to me?

"No, it really hurts!"

.../narrows eyes in suspicion.

You didn't break our deal to avoid labor pain, did you?

"....Er, I mean, OOOWWWWWWWWWW! THE BABIES COMING!"

"HOSPITAL NOW!" While pulling Eve to the car, he made sure to tell his mother to take care of the guest.

"So, you think my son is hot? Do you fancy striking a deal so I may have more grandchildren?"

"....I honestly don't know what to say to that."

Don't mind Yumi, she honestly likes Eve. I think she just has a weird sense of humor.

"The fun thing about being a elder is that you can say stuff like that and get away with it, after all."

I KNEW IT!

And here is the new baby! A girl, just like Jamie predicted. Man... ok, is that interaction meant to predict correctly/determine gender? Otherwise that is just weird. O_o

So, what's the name? :D

"Too tired, dun wanna talk right now. Beddy bye."

Well, you are looking shell shocked, but can you at least tell me her name?

"A daughter..." He gave a happy sigh at this point. Ah, family oriented sims. "Hmmm? Oh, sorry. Her name is Destiny. Eve said something about Destiny helping out luck and giving her this girl, and something about a big plan for her. She was rather out of it."

Well, there you have it! Destiny Noel was born with the Grumpy AND Clumsy trait locked in, because no matter how many green moodlets Eve had, and how full her bars were, she wouldn't get above yellow in her mood status. I think it was a small glitch. Anyway, her favorite color is purple like her dad's, her favorite music is Latin, and her favorite food is fruit parfaits. She has personality, I like her.

"You seem to say that a lot."

I like a lot of sims. I rarely dislike one. Heck, last time I disliked one was some jerk kid in one of my failed legacy attempted. That was the only sim I ever disliked, and that was because he was determined to get into everyone's way. The brat.

The ride home was quiet and happy with the couple holding their hands, musing to themselves about the future of their young girl.

Noel: She will have ponies! And cake! And toys! Oh, I'm so happy. I love my daughter. And Leighton is so handsome.

Leighton: ...I wonder if I will be able to find coupons for all the stuff that Eve will now want to buy.

All this time, Yumi has been fishing and humming to herself about Grandbabies. Jamie had to leave for work before the couple got back, but ah well.

And this is where Yumi is 50% of the time, just so you know. If she isn't in the camera, she is either fishing or fulfilling a yellow need. Just assume that for now on.

She also loves fishing with her grandson, which is adorable.

"Remember, Sam- fishing is a lot like catching the right girl. You must use the right bait: looks, preferably. And you can't reel them in too fast, otherwise they will catch wise that you are leading them to a poverty ridden shack and run before you have a chance to even kiss them farewell."

"..."

Ah, learned tuning out from his father, I see.

Of course, Yumi then completely won me over by spending every autonomous moment cuddling and cooing over her granddaughter. She is a big ol' softy at heart.

"Now remember: Dress with tight clothes and with the right look and you can knock out any man! But always train your muscles, so you can knock down any girl in your way as well."

And moar baby autonomous baby lovin' pic spam.

Soooo cute!

...And yeah, I have no Eve pics here. She kinda just forgot she had a baby, I think. Except for the toys part.

"Hoocha, lil' Missy! The cow-dude has come to TOWN!"

She plays with the mirror at every chance. I think she loves the mirror more than her own kid. >.>

Fastforward a couple days and we see Sam turned into a teenager, and looking decent. He rolled Angler, which made me 'awwwwww!' since he fishes with his Grandma often. They really do have a great relationship.

But more importantly, the same night the baby exploded!

And she is looking very cute. You can't tell in this dark picture, but she has red hair like her mommy and green eyes like her mommy, but so far all her face shape and eye shape looks like her dad. Including her nose.

I am sad about the lack of her mom's nose. :(

What's this? Another pop?

"Yesssssss! I don't have to go into work tomorrow!"

.../le sigh
