As promised, Cayce sent a note to Control when her latest census was complete.

Cayce glared at her notes.

She'd gotten sloppy, she realized; she hadn't been keeping up with the new arrivals nearly as well as she should, and she hadn't updated the park census in forever. Which meant it was time to do this the easy way.

So a large sheet of paper went up on the park bulletin board.

A tall, slim man appears in the entrance plaza. He's wearing a conservative grey suit and the kind of wide, nondescript necktie that was popular in the 1980s. A tall, solid man in a conservative dark waistcoat, tie, and trousers stands just inside the gate, wearing an expression of mild surprise. This is certainly not where the door to his office normally leads.
