King Kazma had made sure to arrive early today. He was going through his usual stretches and warm up routine. Once he was finished with that, he moved to practicing his Shaolin Kempo techniques. He moved slowly as he went through the motions. He was concentrating on preparing for the tryouts but he would be open to conversation, should he be approached.

Vivio's eyes widened as she saw a giant humanoid bunny just standing there doing martial arts. This shouldn't have been much of a surprise, but hey, giant humanoid bunny. This was awesome. "Hi!" she said, moving up towards him as she started doing some practice punches and kicks as well.

Kazma looked over at Vivio as she moved over and began her own warm-ups. He gave her a quick nod and continued his slow motions.

"Hello. Are you a contestant as well?"

Akira approached the judge's gathering with her hands clasped nervously in front of her chest.

"That's right," Akira said, lowering her hands. "Anyway. What are you qualifying digisoul as?"

She gestured with a hand out at her side a little nervously. "A couple of techniques from my world appear to have been converted to digisoul," she explained. "I'd rather not get disqualified because I threw an attack that's second nature to me in the middle of a match."

Alice paused to look at the sign up list.

"Samuel Manson."

Shadow Man approached the table, a small frown on his face at being the first one up. He had wanted to see how Suoh handled the others before his turn, but it seems that wasn't going to happen.

"Samuel Manson," he paused, but didn't say an age more or less because he honestly didn't have a 'fake' one picked out. "I have been training my entire life and my style is... mixed martial arts."

After that he just stood perfectly still as he waited for this all to start.

The scowl didn't escape Suoh, but he didn't comment on it, either. He wasn't the one calling out the order after all.

"Alright," Alice nodded, marking things down on her clipboard. "Ready, Suoh?"

"Yes," the teen nodded, moving out on to the mat and waiting for Shadow Man to follow him.

Well, it was all over. All that was really left was choosing who would move on to the actual tournament, but that was something that the judges were going to take care of in the next few days away from the gym.

And where was Suoh, now that all the entrants were filtering out?

On the mat, sprawled out on his back, aching all over from so much activity after months of not practicing. He managed to hold his own against the other fighters just fine and hadn't gotten injured (though arguably The Boulder came close) but that didn't mean he wasn't sore as hell.

Kazuma was next to him, crouched down and prodding his shoulder with a finger.

"Suoh-saaaaan. Are you going to live?"

"Maybe. I'll just be slightly broken for a while..."

Once all the matches were over, Quatre headed over to where Suoh was laying on the mats. He was pretty sure that his boyfriend wasn't injured, but he was obviously worn out. Sitting down next to him, he pressed a water bottle against Suoh's forehead. "Hey, are you okay Su?"

Suoh sighed thankfully at the cool bottle on his forehead, smiling at Quatre.

"Tired. And sore. I'll be fine, though."
