I'm back
At work today
I have one more holiday gig to plan out. I am taking the 2nd grade to the Senior Center here in town to sing on December 8th. It's a small PR gig that I always enjoy so.... no worries there. I have to select aobut 4 songs for the kids to learn between now and then. This class is very musical so I am not worried in the slightest.
Other than that, it's back to the teaching grind stone. I don't mind this... aside from the fact that my sinuses are still not cooperating to their fullest yet. Blargh.
On the Home front
A ton of stuff was gone through yesterday afternoon/evening. I did purge quite a few things into various boxes for either removal or redistribution. I also managed to clear away quite a bit of linen closet clutter and made room for some of Lee's wardrobe. Things are coming together nicely. Now, to try and unload my PC tower on someone.
Theatrically Speaking
I am actually starting to see how the Christmas show is beginning to gel. Honestly, there are still parts of it I don't understand but I will just throw my hands up and do what is required of me. Once this show is over, I think I'll be "resting" again for a while. So many other things to focus on now.
I have been asked to do a small PR gig to promote the show on Saturday. So, I'll be doing that. I think that's it though.
Creative endeavors
I have begun to make myself sit down in the evenings and work on some new jewelry pieces. I am doing a small craft gig on December 11th and I want some more pieces to show and possibly sell. Just need to create more variety at a decent price to do so.
I also have a piece planned to put on exhibit in the art gallery during the Christmas show and that piece is due next week sometime. So I ordered the beads and things for it and as soon as they get here this week.... I'm all over it.
