[Luke kept himself mostly occupied with school. There wasn't much else for him to do with his time and he liked learning anyway. Besides, school was one of the very few places he was allowed to go to without someone walking with him, and he took full advantage of this.]

[Besides, it was nice to get out and enjoy some quiet. Meryl's house tended to be a bit noisy at times, and the walk to school was always so peaceful.]

[Red eyes continue to watch Luke before Tatsumi decides upon a plan. After dropping off the roof into a nearby ally, Tatsumi casually walks out and heads up the street, towards Luke's direction. He's rather close now and simply smiles and waves.]

Ya! Good mornin'!

[Luke jumped and turned. He wasn't used to be talked to on his way to school.]

Oh! Good morning, Mr. Tatsumi.

I don't usually run into anyone on my way to school!

Ya? It is pretty early...

[Tatsumi's steps begin to slow the closer the to walk together. Something about that smile of Tatsumi's seems off.]

... I bet most the monsters aren't even out at this time of day. It must make ya feel safe.

[Luke tilted his head, and tried not to visibly stiffen. The way Tatsumi was looking at him seemed strangely familiar. But..that look had been the look that Megumi had given him...and that couldn't be right.]

[Right?]

[It took all sorts of effort not to break into a run. It took even more effort to try and not look like he was shaking. The Professor had always said he'd had an overactive imagination. This must just be more of the same.]

W-well....even though it's early you still have to be careful.

Ya! That's true. Though, isn't it a bit too early to be headin' to school?

[He stops in front of Luke, peering down at the boy for a moment.]

I don't mind, though. It's always nice when ya can grab bite too eat in the morning before the day begins!

[He grins, showing his nice pointy fangs]

No hard feelings, ya?

[Okay. Luke was definitely not imagining things. He took a half a step back at the comment about it being too early for school, and then another step back when Tatsumi said something about a bite to eat. At the fangs, he'd just about broken into a run. At the no hard feelings...he was already running off as fast as he could. He was a good sprinter, but judging by how his running away had worked last time--it hadn't--he had to think fast and come up with something else that might actually work.]

[There weren't many options. Tatsumi had to be twice his size, and if Megumi was any hint of anything, he would outrun Luke in just a few seconds. He didn't know any of these buildings--who was in them, if they were open, if they were safe. All he could think of was to hide. But where could he hide? He couldn't get far enough away fast enough

[Tatsumi laughed as his prey fled. it was cute to see the little thing attempt to get away. Even climbing the fire-escape was amusing. Did he honestly believe that would work? Oh, how STUPID people became when they were scared. Tatsumi walks briskly after Luke and stops at the bottom of the ladder and looks up.]

A morning workout too? Ya are too kind!

[He lunches into the air, pushing off the building opposite them in the small alley, and cracking the brick wall right next to Luke and the ladder. The impact shakes the ladder, but more importantly, Tatsumi is holding onto it, looking down at the young boy with a slight crazed look to him or perhaps it was because his eyes had nearly inverted. The whites were black and made the red glow stand out even more]

But I'm afraid climbing isn't on my exercise schedule today.

[Luke tried not to react to what Tatsumi said about a morning workout. He had to try and keep thinking, keep moving. He shuddered, and then looked down. Down was the only direction to go in, so he tried to start moving in that direction. When the ground didn't look so far away, he dropped off the fire escape. The fall was less than graceful, and he hit the ground hard. It took him a long moment to reorient himself, and then he got back to his feet and started running again.]

[All he could think of was keep moving. He wasn't sure where he was moving to, but he was going to keep moving that way since it was his only option. As an afterthought, he also threw the first object he saw at Tatsumi: rock. It wasn't a big rock, but it was a rock and it was something thrown. That's all he had, so it would have to do.]

[As he was running, he yelled back at Tatsumi.] Leave me alone!

[Tatsumi dropped nearly after Luke did but much more graceful and without much fault. it hurt but Tatsumi's pain tolerance was so great, everyone who had ever been int he city could have a nice chuck of it and he'd still be able to get shot a dozen times without stopping.

So, falling from the side of a building was nothing. So was walking after Luke. The rock did nothing. The mark it made faded almost instantly and werepire treats it similar to the way one would treat a fly]

How about we make a deal? Ya let me feed off ya and I'll keep ya alive!!

[If Tatsumi hadn't followed up with more laughter, perhaps the offer would have sounded sincere. Though,a t this point, Tatsumi's hunger was kicking him from within and that was a pain he had little tolerance for. His walk quickly turned into a run, one which brought hm right next to Luke, ready to scoop him up.]

[Do something do something do something. This was not working out in his favor and Tatsumi was so fast...he had to stay away, get away, run. Before he could even think, Tatsumi was right next to him, about to grab him, and Luke did the very first thing that came to mind.]

[He stamped on Tatsumi's foot with all of his weight.] No!

[That done, he made off to try running again.]

[Oh, cuteness was wearing off and Tatsumi's smirk turned dark and angry. It wasn't the fact his foot was stomped on but how hungry he was already. Normally, Tatsumi found most his joy in how his victims struggled but the hunger was crying out, making time slow down and drag on.

The werewolf easily comes up behind Luke once more and picks him up and holds the boy against the nearest building so Luke's face was pressed against the brick. Sharp fangs break skin and Tatsumi readies himself for satisfaction.]

[He was exhausted from the running and couldn't quite wriggle with all that much strength. Thankfully, he'd managed to squeeze his eyes shut before his face was pressed against the bricks; he could feel his face scrape against the rough surface as he was held tight against the wall.]

[Luke wasn't sure when he'd started, but he was crying.]

[He screamed when the fangs pierced his neck, and to his ears it sounded the same as it had the last time; some combination of pain and terror. He'd struggled with renewed vigor for a moment, but quickly fell still--his feet were dangling off the ground, his head felt light, and he started to feel shivery as Tatsumi continued to drink.]

[Satisfaction didn't come. After consuming half a cup of blood, Tatsumi pulls away from Luke and licks his lips. What was going on?! Why was the blood having no effect against his hunger? It was depressing.

This wasn't supposed to happen anymore. he had his chip out!! Tatsumi could punch the wall in frustration but looking over his victim gave him a much sweeter idea. The werepire leans in and licks the trail of blood from Luke's neck just before speaking into his ear.]

Don't tell anyone about our little meeting today or what happened. Instead, seek out Megumi-kun and take revenge upon her. Make her suffer just as you had.

[With that, Tatsumi sets Luke down, holding him until as his feet sat flat against the ground.]

Now, go!

[Luke stared, mouth hanging slightly open, completely perplexed by everything that had just transpired, particularly the instructions he'd just been given. He felt odd. Not sick, not in the same was as he'd felt sick when Megumi had bitten him--but odd. He had the strength to wipe his eyes, and didn't feel like he was going to fall flat onto his face. And Tatsumi didn't just drop him; he put him down slow, until his feet were back on the ground again. He wobbled slightly
