Whoa! College life.

After 2 weeks it has finally hit me how much I am truly in for regarding class load and time needed outside of class to perform sufficiently.

Okay, my Tuesdays start at around 9:30 and they don't end until 5:30, no time for eating in between anything.

So I went to my math discussion yesterday, followed by work in the dishroom for 2 hours. I got to work and realized I didn't have my official hat with me (which I had placed on my backpack the night previously so I wouldn't forget). So, needless to say, the hat must have fallen off and I forgot it, so a hairnet I was donning whilst washing dishes.
Then I left work to attend my Japanese discussion. Okay, that went well. But I realized then how unprepared I truly was for today's quiz. I need a lot more practice with my hirigana (gonna make some flashcards).
Well, following that, I immediately rush off to my three hour lab, yesterday being our first. After I got there I realized my lab goggles were back in my dorm room (half way across campus) still on my shelf in their packaging. So I had to check out some grody pair from the stockroom. Then our TA asked to see our pre-lab preparations. Well, shit. I didn't do any of that either. I did the online pre-lab (and sucked at that because I didn't realize that they provide you with the resources to study before hand on the website in our lab manual). So yeah, I was doing our pre-lab quiz without having done the tutorials as recommended in the manual (I wish I would have known they were right there) but now I think I understand the lab system so I can adequately prepare for next week.

After getting back to my dorm and grabbing some food for the first time since breakfast, I got invited to go to the student org fair completely across campus. Well, why would I deny that because I need to find some organizations to join. So after being a geek and signing up for 2 Anime clubs and then doing something cool by joining Colleges Against Cancer, I went back to my dorm and finished my lab write-up (both what should have been done before and what needed to be completed after, so I actually did twice the work as what I needed to have done at once) and then I studied my hiragana for 2 hours.

I did decently on the Japanese quiz today, but my day is far from over.

Glad to be alive again and hopefully I'll be posting more lately.
