I had like this really heartfelt and overly emotional message that I had written but I just couldn't stop laughing at this:

I like to think that we've come a long way since our days spent in the library "strategizing", haha. Sure we still giggle over really silly things but thank God we're no longer hyperventilating over some guy spitting in our eyes. Talk about being socially awkward! I've spent a majority of tonight just thinking back and laughing at all those crazy moments we've had together in the past thirteen years, that if I posted them up people reading this would have no idea what I'm talking about. Those were some really good times though.
What is there left to say? You're my best, and you'll be coming home soon! We'll celebrate your birthday when you get back, it's been a long time coming - about two years in the making, and it'll be awesome.
Even though we can't be together for your special day, always remember this:
