It's getting hot in here

My headache is really killing me, so just a few words regarding DW's Fires of Pompeii.

-- Donna just keeps getting better and better, I really love her! I can't even expound on that right now but judging from the reaction posts I've read all over the place I'm sure that I'm not alone in thinking this.

-- The supporting cast was brilliant, the part at the end where the Doctor takes them up to the hill to witness the burning of Pompeii made me tear up.

-- "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." O hai Donna using some of the Doctor's lines, just in case you haven't noticed that she and the Doctor are meant to be equals.

-- "There is something on your back." WHAT. This intrigues me far more than the other prophecy about Rose (although, I'm also thinking that She = someone/something else.. Gallifrey?),  I'm really hoping that whatever it is that's on Donna's back, it better be something she will NOT DIE OF. Okay.

I'm in your temples, squirt-gunning your high-priestesses.

-- Someone has got to stop RTD from using the Jesus!Doctor with accompanying Shiny Lights thing. Seriously, I'M SO OVER IT. And it was all Donna's idea, they should've both been at the door calling the family into the TARDIS. Ugh. (Don't mind me, headache, remember?)

-- Why hello there mighty Decepticons Pyrovillians, you're a long ways away from Cybertron your home planet, aren't you?

-- I can't keep track of all the repeated mentions of people/places/things in the past two eps anymore. Can they put it down a notch, surely we don't need all those things in every episode? My brain is going to break.

-- Emo Doctor is emo. But today I was okay with that. That bit where Donna and the Doctor grab hold of the lever together.. ♥

This was gorgeous and tragic but still so beautiful. I cried.

-- They're really making us weepy too early into the season, methinks. Next week's looks great, more explosions and awesome guest star(s), woot!
