My headache is really killing me, so just a few words regarding DW's Fires of Pompeii.

-- Donna just keeps getting better and better, I really love her! I can't even expound on that right now but judging from the reaction posts I've read all over the place I'm sure that I'm not alone in thinking this.

-- The supporting cast was brilliant, the part ( Read more... )

LOL I love the waterpistol photo caption ! :D

The Doctor was more angsty than emo, I thought - but in a totally acceptable manner...

I love Donna to bits but Why the Feck didn't Martha get a story like this to prove that she's every bit as awesome as we all know she is?

Ah yes, angsty was the word I wanted but emo just got there first, lol!

I am so with you on that! There were a lot of times in the past two eps that I thought Martha would've done just as well as Donna, and I wished she had the same opportunity as Donna to "prove herself" (even though neither of them need to prove anything, but well you know what I mean).

The more I see of this season the more I really feel the weight of how much Martha got shortchanged. Thanks RTD.

Yes she did get shortchanged. She could easily have been "someone to stop [him]" but no, they saddled her with that stupid unrequited love story - which was always hopelessly inconsistent...

Bah humbug !

After watching TRB and then S&J, I thought they had that idea (someone to stop the Doctor) for Martha to do, it was starting out good then suddenly O hai Doctor I love you nao. WTF. Oh well, here's to hoping that Martha gets treated better in 2 weeks!!

Hahah I know right, I really should start posting about other stuff :))

Doctor Who is this sci-fi British show that's been around for years, but I only started watching it a year ago. Basically the Doctor (Who is not his last name, he doesn't have a name name, that's why when people meet him people go "Doctor? Doctor who?!?") is this 900+ year-old alien who travels the universe and helps people, etc. But lately he's being all emo 'coz he lost his planet (that he had to bomb, long story), plus all these other emotional things he goes through. It's like, a soap opera based in all parts of space and time, HAHA. That's the best I can describe it :))

I made Ria watch a few episodes na but it's not her thing daw :)) But she liked it, I guess? I'm making her watch more episodes, we made a deal that for one DW ep I make her watch, I have to watch one of Gossip Girl. I'm willing to do it, that's how much I love my show :))
