Open House #13 is DONE!!!
I got so nervous and it stuck with me for at least half of my classes. Grrrr.
A parent told me they liked the emails I regularly send out. Um, I don't send regular emails. Then it dawned on me that she thought I was one of the other Spanish teachers. We don't even teach in the same hallway!
Another parent told me their kid said they liked their 7th grade teacher better. I'm the 8th grade teacher... Well, it is what it is. That parent came a period late to class, when all of my classes were done. So it was a nice one on one conversation. ::thumbsup::
The five-thirty p.m. coffee woke me up good and now I feel like I probably won't fall asleep. I was desperate though because I haven't been sleeping NEARLY enough this week. So glad that tomorrow is Friday and not any other day after Open House night.
I still want to do the glimpseatmyday challenge that was posted last week. I'll either do that tomorrow night or over the weekend.
Last weekend I did an entire "Day In The Life"/"Glimpse At My Day" photo day. Have to post that, too.
