Genre: Friendship

Summary: Wooyoung feels hatred towards a certain idol and cringes whenever he sees his face. Fate delivers an unlikely chance where Wooyoung not only has to see the idol every day, but be the idol.

With Junho settled into the location he was going to stay at for a few extra days, Wooyoung prepared himself for making his big debut. Even while boarding the plane, he wore a mask and pulled the hood up as he took the two hour flight back. Nam Gook handed him a pair of sunglasses as he noticed the other male trembling, hoping it would ease his nerves. “I'll be right next to you. If you want to wave, just lift your hand, don't shake it side to side. Sometimes Junho hides like this so you got off lucky. Are you ready?”

His heart pounded in his chest, ready to burst out as he nodded, putting the sunglasses on. Wooyoung started his few steps, counting up to the numbers Junho had given him and the idol wasn't far off as he hit ten before the doors opened. Fans were lined up against the posts that had them keeping their distance. Camera were flashing brightly in his eyes and he was glad he was wearing the glasses because he was sure he'd be blinking three times a second. He walked closely to Nam Gook, hearing the manager mumble 'wave' before he raised his hand and the fans screamed. Even though the sound felt deafening, he felt a smile come to his lips as he continued to walk and his nerves had mostly disappeared. They had got to the van before he knew it and Wooyoung had forgotten to count.

Driving off, Nam Gook turned to the other male, “So how was that?”

“Kind of fun, to be honest.”

The first experience felt exhilarating for Wooyoung as his heart raced and the nerves of a fan noticing the infamous trademarks that only Junho carried and he didn't, got him hyped up. After a couple times, days turned into weeks and soon, he wasn't feeling the thrill as much anymore. Following Junho around was tiring him out even though all he was doing was appearing. He wasn't doing the concerts, shows, or movies. He wasn't singing, making a guest appearance or acting but it still tired him out. Often at times, he would see Junho looking physically drained as the idol barely made it to the couch let alone bed to have a rest. The singer/actor would carry on though, pushing through and suddenly looking recharged and energized.

“How does he do it?” Wooyoung asked one day finally.

Nam Gook tilted his head to the side as a spry looking Junho was in an action scene that was being played out in the distance. “His girlfriend,” he said then glanced at Wooyoung as if to speak with his eyes to keep it quiet as it was the first he had heard about it. “Those times when Junho needs you to stand in, he meets with his girlfriend and she gives him that boost. I don't know how she does it and as long as there isn't a chemical substance involved, I allow it to happen.”

It was then that Wooyoung understood why his job was so important. If at first he had known the reason, he might have gave the idol a look of disgust, thinking that he only needed him to go satisfy his need for lust but he could see how strained Junho was and how he'd bounce back.

He dropped himself onto the bed, landing in Japan once again for the third time that month. Their schedule had been pulled into overtime as Junho was becoming more popular, having to appear on every show and advertise for even the simplest products. Wooyoung was getting tired of running out and wearing make-up. Although the food was nice and he had access to a gym whenever they went to a hotel, the days were becoming too much of the same. He became fully supportive of Junho, even cheering him on a little before a concert as he started to warm up to the idol. It was hard, he would admit, to not like the twenty-four year old. There were traits that were difficult not to admire, especially his will to go on.

Junho entered the room quietly, shredding off his clothing before landing right on top of Wooyoung as he laid on his bed. The older male gave a soft grunt before shifting slightly to make room for the tired idol. Rather than getting out of the bed and Junho kicking him out, they both laid there with their eyes closed. “How'd it go?” Wooyoung asked, his voice a soft whisper.

“Good. They had me sing an encore before I left though but I was already so tired,” Junho replied, his voice raspy from singing loudly at the concert.

“Do you want me to get you some water?”

The idol shook his head, throwing his arm around Wooyoung's back, “No, stay here.”

“Are you going to see your girlfriend tonight?” he asked, suddenly seeing Junho's bright eyes staring at him.

“Ah,” the younger male chuckled, “I guess Nam Gook told you. Not tonight, I'm too tired.”
