hp_halloween 2021 fest. By far the most easy going fest this year I was involved in. I was quite jaded from participating in the past years but the new mods are so chill and really kicked it out of the park. I can't wait to participate again next year. <3
Word Count: 200.
Graveyards were creepy on their own, on Halloween, they're something extra. I know I didn't have to be here but given we were all here to support Harry, I couldn't exactly say no. Even Krum had showed up as he'd received a half-arse invite from Ron. Certainly, a huge celebrity like him had better things to do tonight.
As I approached the group surrounding the burial grounds for Harry's parents, leaves crunching beneath my boots, I shivered. Unfortunately, it hadn't gone unnoticed. Thankfully, no one was offended.
I felt a warm brush of skin against my hand, looking up, I found Charlie standing next to me. His fingers teased mine. Now, my face was aflame.
Lanterns burned, hanging above us and my head was bowed, out of respect, but also out of embarrassment. This wasn't the time to get excited. We'd only been on a handful of dates so far; I'd suspected but hadn't confirmed Charlie would attend out of respect. It'd be wishful thinking to assume he was here for me.
