My PSP's getting sent back-- but not my PSP, they have to send me an entirely new one because they can't fix it. Ha, oh well, good thing I sent it in, then, since it couldn't have been fixed even casually.
Midway through Degrassi season 4 in my rewatchings. Good God. -- I got some friends (HI PANTSLESS BISEXUALS PLEASE TELL ME YOU WEREN'T JUST HUMORING ME) to say they might watch part of season 10 of Degrassi! Utter cheering! I'm figuring out what I'd need to recap so they understand it, though, because watching seasons 8-10 would be too much, I have been told. (BUT BUT BUT, THEY WON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I LIKED ALLI. AND CLARE'S TRANSFORMATION/INNER INSECURITIES. AND--) But it pleases me. :)
I feel totally subhuman today. I haven't even been out of my room. I'm gonna need to go get food eventually, but it'll be done in the caf by the time I'm hungry, so. No problems, I've got some money left to get stuff in the Gizmo, AKA, best place ever. I should do some work tonight, and there's this essay due Monday that I still have no idea what to do it on -- but my brain is blank for work right now. Is that bad? I dunno.
Accepted at Singularity! Yay! Gonna intro when the others there can play, but it should be a blast.
My parents may be dropping down this weekend. Exciting, yes? Hopefully they can come. I've been looking forward to the prospect since...well, to be honest, before Family Weekend two weeks ago, but that's a depressing discussion for another day. I can't wait for them to meet my friends here. It's sort of a foreign concept to me that they don't know (or at least have met) the people I'm talking about. I'm building myself up to the weekend because I'm planning on coming out to my dad then. Wish me luck.
AND ON THAT NOTE, TO FINISH THE ENTRY: Spirit Day 2010. Wear Purple in honor of those in the LGBT community who have committed suicide due to bullying, lack of acceptance, and general homophobic abuse. RIP to way too many. To those in the closet, It Gets Better. We're all here in support of you.
EDIT: Watching the auditions in season 4 of Degrassi. Shenae Grimes is SO TINY OH MY GOD. Depending on when they shot the show, she was about 14-15. Depending on when she auditioned, she might have been 13-years-old. She's almost 21 now. She started on the show in 2004. That's six years, auditions would've had to have been what, a year before, to allot for shooting time, editing time, etc. I just. Oh my gosh I wanna squish her, isn't she ADORABLE? PRECIOUS? The audition things must be my favorite part of these DVDs. And the commentary.
