Hellos, hellos, hellos. :D I had planned to post my long archived summer Minnesota pictures, but opened the file, saw them all unnamed and unconverted...and suddenly, I had no energy.
Let's see. What have I been up to?
Today I watched the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode where Lieutenant Yar gets death-slapped by a digitally-deficient, unspecified protein endowed blob creature.
We had cookies in my American Literature class this morning. They were good and of great variety. The napkins were cool, too.
...
Hahaha, well, I've been giving school the ol' heave-ho. (Jeezus, the "ol' heave-ho"?) I still need to officially drop my History major and remove Dr. Beyotch as my advisor, but I'm spin-kicking the hell out of my homework, reading, exams.
Although the professor is excellent and entertaining, American Lit is only tolerable. I'm not much for Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, Eugene O'Neill...LOL, however, if one studies the pieces moderately, just to the point when you're about to twitch, then you can do rather well. 98% on my first exam, all while lopping off Twain's "Life on The Mississippi" and Eugene O'Neill's "The Hairy Ape" (out of 11 pieces). Ha-HA!
I'm down with the E.E. Cummings.
tee
hee.
I love both the professor for and material of my Ancient Western Civilization Literature. Rock on, Gilgamesh! Writing was invented in 3000 B.C.E.! Akhenaten ruled in the 1300s B.C.E.!
Criminal Justice cool. Astronomy cool. Astronomy Lab detrimental to my self-worth in general. Guh, I am weak in the face of math. But am doing okay, getting mostly full points for each lab. Teacher's nice and patient. Today was Visual Binary Stars lab: we calculated their angular and actual size, proper and radial motion, converted all that to meters, tallied their separate velocities, equated their weight, converted it to solar masses. I love how I can apply this to practically everything I do. I mean, I could calculate the velocity of my breath leaving my body, the angular size of my body hitting the floor, then convert my post-mortem weight into solar mass. Hey, I might be .00000001149184979471274901491904794(10e4567) the weight of the sun.
*smile*
Only algebra left and I'm done forever. Forever.
Megans, Category: Freaks is teh awesome. It is by the same dude who did Juvenile Orion. Freak ooouut! The sexy on the cover is clearly remniscent of dark angel-alien eraser Lafayel, thus ♥♥♥. The story is intriguing, creepy, mmm...morbid, yet possesses humor.
Grr, amazon.com dares tempt me with the
cover of the second volume, yet neither they nor the manga's
publisher will even hint at its release.

Hahaha, I've finally listened to Metric's Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? and, until now, when I was forced to check its track listing for my honorable livejournal "music:" citing, I wanted to believe that my favorite "Succexy" really contained the phrase "Invasion s-s-sexy" but...apparently not. What is "Succexy"? A historical reference? Nonsense? How Canadians spell "sexy," thereby granting my dearest wish? :\
