The Employment Non-Discrimination Act would create a blanket federal statute regulating employment throughout the US. So the Roman Catholic Church has to pay over $600 million to victims of priestly sexual abuse from the LA Archdiocese. It serves them right, they've been covering abuse up for years, moving offenders from parish to parish. And by years I mean at least a thousand.
