Or at least, it looks that way at the point she's pulled here. But when we look at some context clues: we can gather that with a bit of love, kindness, and friendship, there is still a small shred of the real Carly deep down because every yugioh villain excluding two or three is like this. Nor did that part of her die when Carly fell out the window. Between the time that she was revived as a Dark Signer to the time that the god showed her a vision of a “perfect” life, Carly was remorseful, scared, and regretting this decision.
