Tomorrow is the premiere of the new Watchmen movie. Nearly every comic book fan friend I have has been in high anticipation for this movie ever since it was announced some time ago.
Personally I can't see what all the fuss is about.
I read the comic books and I thought they were good. I liked the characters and thought some of them were interesting. Especially Rorshach in the hero/anti-hero type role he had. However this wasn't the BEST series ever. I've read better.
Honestly while the series was good, I had to skim through some of it because it was getting so damned wordy and was losing my attention.
So many fans act like this series was the end all/be all of comic books and I couldn't dis-agree more. It didn't change my life on some grand epic scale or change my outlook on things. That honor belongs to the now complete Sandman series on my bookshelf.
