There is a house on Bay View Drive known to all in Belladonna Cove and avoided by most. Kids know any balls lost in that yard are lost forever. Pre-adolescents dare one another to go up and touch it. Even adults walk by it quickly when they must, looking out over the water rather than at the spooky old house...
