Am watching Merlin. What does this show have against the color tangerine? In every episode I've seen thus far, the baddie has worn a flowy, tangerine cloak. If you're a girl, it's crushed velvet

Yes, there is Eve Myles. She's in the first episode, and when she popped up, I went, "Eve Myles! Hi, Eve Myles! Do you have some kind of blackmail on the BBC? Because I swear you're in everything."
It's quite fun when it isn't frustrating me. (Also frustrating -- not following your own rules of magic. I'm looking at you, episode 2.)
True, but I'm taking a summer course (that finishes next week-and then I go home for two weeks, YAY!). This didn't stop me from getting sucked into Buffy.
BBC miniseries are fun for that as well! (She's in Little Dorrit, which I still need to finish. And so is Freema!)
Also frustrating -- not following your own rules of magic.
Oh, that *is* annoying. Magical realms still have rules-continuity is good!
Have you watched the Torchwood miniseries? I was half-watching it last night, and I swear Martha was there, but with different hair, and calling herself Lois. Was that someone who just looked kind of like Martha? Has Martha hit her head? Is she undercover? I didn't care enough to keep watching, but that's been bothering me.
No, Lois isn't Martha . . . though she did remind me of her-perhaps a cousin? (I don't think Martha's mentioned at all in the miniseries . . . wait, that's not quite right-I think there might have been a brief comment about her being on her honeymoon with Pediatrician Guy [he *was* a pediatrician, right?]. But that was it.)
Ah, right then. Way to completely ignore Martha, guys. Although I must say, from the little I saw of the thing, I approve of New Doctor Guy. Wait. Jack said something about needing a new doctor. Wasn't Martha the replacement doctor? ARE THEY GETTING RID OF MARTHA???
Buh... whu? The hell, RTD? Well, then. I know some people who will be very, very upset about the Ianto thing. And I had thought Martha and Mickey were going to work for Torchwood, but I guess RTD cares naught for our expectations. I was just going to ask if he was going to keep doing Torchwood, but I guess not...
Wow. Just, wow. It's a good thing that RTD feels compelled to not upset the children in the Doctor Who audience, or I see this would be the kind of bleak fare we'd get.
Oh, and I saw the bit about Jack having a grandson, and I was like "Kid's gonna be endangered, to make the viewing audience care." I didn't think they'd actually kill him, though.
Yeah, very nearly "rocks fall, everyone dies" . . . the last two episodes were pretty much WHY RTD WHY??? (ANGST ANGST DOOOOOM ANGST END-OF-THE WORLD Teeeeensy bits of funny. Maybe. ANGST)
I will not watch it until after the semester. I will not watch it until after the semester.

From your reaction, my guess is one of three things
1) Martha's been written off
2) Martha was killed
3) New Doctor Guy was killed (and they damn well better not have written off the hot Indian guy.)
I think 2) is unlikely, though.
